Kick Affiliate and Partner Requirements
To enable paid subscriptions on Kick (the tier long known as Affiliate) you only need to stream 5 total hours. The revenue-per-stream KICK Partner Program asks for much more: a verified channel, 75 average viewers, 30 hours streamed, 25 active subs, 250 unique chatters and 3 VODs in the past 30 days, plus at least 250 followers.
Kick’s two tiers at a glance
Kick’s naming has shifted. Its main help article now calls the subscription tier KICK Partner, while other Kick articles still call it Affiliate. Separately, there’s the KICK Partner Program (KPP), which pays creators per stream. Here’s how they compare:
| Subscriptions tier (Affiliate) | KICK Partner Program | |
|---|---|---|
| What it unlocks | Paid subscriptions (95/5 split) | Revenue per stream |
| Requirements | 5 total hours streamed | Verified channel plus the metrics below |
| How you join | Enable Subscriptions button in your Streamer Dashboard | Email application or Fast Track |
Requirements to enable subscriptions (Affiliate)
Kick’s help center lists a single requirement: stream for at least 5 total hours. The hours are cumulative, so several short streams over different days add up. Once you hit 5 hours, the Enable Subscriptions button becomes available in your Streamer Dashboard.
Subs on Kick cost a flat $5 a month and you keep 95% ($4.75). The remaining 5% covers processing. The same split applies to KICKs, Kick’s tipping currency.
How to set up subscriptions
Kick pays through Stripe, so you’ll set up a Stripe account during this process. If Stripe doesn’t support your country, you can’t enable subscriptions yet.
- Click your avatar → Streamer Dashboard, then open the Revenue page.
- Choose your country of residence and click Set Up Account.
- Enter your email, then a phone number that can receive one-time passcodes, and enter the code Stripe sends.
- Fill in your full name, address and phone number, then add your bank account (check the currency and country).
- Review everything and click Agree and Submit. Confirm the email Stripe sends you.
Non-verified streamers are paid monthly; verified streamers can choose weekly or monthly. Your first payout comes after Stripe verification is complete and the next monthly cycle ends.
KICK Partner Program requirements
The KICK Partner Program lets creators earn revenue per stream. Kick says the program is still early and the metrics may change. The current criteria are:
| Requirement | Threshold |
|---|---|
| Channel verification | Verified before you apply |
| Profile | Relevant social links and a completed About section |
| Average viewers | Minimum average of 75 CCV in the past 30 days |
| Hours streamed | 30 hours in the past 30 days |
| Subscriptions | At least 25 active subs in the past 30 days |
| Chatters | 250 unique chatters in the past 30 days |
| VODs | 3 VODs in the past 30 days |
| Followers | At least 250 |
You also have to follow Kick’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, DMCA Policy and the KCIP Terms and Conditions. Meeting the numbers makes you eligible to apply but doesn’t guarantee acceptance.
How to apply
- Check your numbers in the Achievements section of your Streamer Dashboard.
- Email
kickpartners@kick.comfrom the email address on your Kick account. - Include your Kick username.
Fast Track for established creators
If you already have a following on another platform, Kick’s Fast Track can get you into the Partner Program without meeting the standard streaming metrics, and you don’t need to be streaming on Kick yet. Go to streamer.kick.com/partner#fast-track, click Fast Track Now (or Check Eligibility if you’re unsure), and fill in the form. Kick says it replies within 24 hours.
How to track your progress
Log in, open your Streamer Dashboard and go to Achievements. It shows what you still need for each milestone. Keep an eye on it after you enable subs too, since the Partner Program metrics all use a rolling 30-day window.
Before chasing the 30-hour target, make sure the stream itself holds up. Our bitrate calculator has a Kick preset, and the OBS encoder settings guide covers the rest of the setup.
Frequently asked questions
Is there still a follower requirement to enable subs on Kick?
Kick’s current help article lists only one requirement for enabling subscriptions: 5 total hours streamed. Older guides mention a follower count, so if your dashboard shows something different, go by your Achievements section.
How much does Kick pay per subscriber?
Subs are a flat $5 per month and you keep 95%, so $4.75 per sub. The other 5% is a processing fee. KICKs (Kick’s tipping currency) use the same 95/5 split.
What are the requirements to get verified on Kick?
Kick’s help center doesn’t publish fixed verification criteria. Check the Achievements section of your Streamer Dashboard for your progress. Verification matters because it’s required before you can apply to the KICK Partner Program.
Can I join the Kick Partner Program without streaming on Kick first?
Yes, through Fast Track if you already have an established audience on another platform. Apply at streamer.kick.com/partner; Kick says the Partnerships team reviews each application within 24 hours.
