How to use the Twitch Badge Resizer

  1. Drop your badge artwork into the box above. Start from a large square image with a transparent background.
  2. Use Trim and Padding to size the badge evenly inside the square.
  3. Check the 18 px preview. That is the size viewers see next to usernames in chat.
  4. Download all three sizes and upload them in your Creator Dashboard under Viewer Rewards → Subscriptions → Badges (or Bits & Points for bit badges).

Frequently asked questions

What size are Twitch sub badges?

Twitch subscriber and bit badges are 72 × 72, 36 × 36 and 18 × 18 pixels, PNG format, with a maximum of 25 KB per file. See the Twitch badge size guide.

My badge is over 25 KB. How do I make it smaller?

Badges with gradients, noise or photos compress poorly. Flatten colours, remove subtle textures, and avoid semi-transparent glows. The 72 px file is the one most likely to go over.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is processed locally in your browser.
