How to use the OBS Counter
- Type a label (like Deaths) and click Create counter.
- Copy the overlay URL into OBS as a Browser source.
- Click + / − or press the + and − keys on this page. Open the control link on your phone to update it away from the keyboard.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use it as a death counter?
Yes. Name it “Deaths” and press + every time you die. The overlay shows “Deaths: 12”.
Can mods update the counter?
Yes. Share the control link with them. Anyone with the link can change it, so only share it with people you trust.
Can I have several counters?
Yes. Create as many as you like; each gets its own overlay URL. This page remembers them.
